PUMA Politics: Fight Your Own Battles Gumby

Gumby Drowning

Oh yeah, that’s right.  You are a spineless, lying, ladder-climbing, arrogant, misogynistic walking wonder who never fails to make me say Are.You.Freakin.Kidding.Me?    According to the NY Times:

ST. PAUL — Senator Barack Obama will increasingly lean on prominent Democratic women to undercut Gov. Sarah Palin and Senator John McCain, dispatching Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton to Florida on Monday and bolstering his plan to deploy female surrogates to battleground states, Obama advisers said Thursday.

Mrs. Clinton’s campaign event in Florida, her first for Mr. Obama since the Democratic convention, will serve as a counterpoint to the searing attacks and fresh burst of energy that Ms. Palin injected into the race with her convention speech on Wednesday, Obama aides said.

Let Me Get This Straight.  The corrupt DNC and Bambi Obama kicked Senator Hillary Clinton and her 18 million supporters to the curb because it is all about “The One” and now instead of sending out the attack dog, Biden, they are calling on Senator Clinton to finish Bambi’s battles?  What part of this equation is not adding up?  Who is the Nominee? Which Candidate won the Popular Vote and then had a sham roll call vote? Which candidate won almost all the swing states?  Which candidate was beating John McCain in the polls when she wasn’t even in the race anymore?  Yeah…that’s right….Senator Clinton; and now you need HER HELP?  Oh I really want you to be my President….Never!  You do not play fair and now you will not fight your own battles; what kind of Presidency can we expect from you? There is a reason why I call you Gumby.

Not 12 hours ago I wrote:

Here is the proof that America is watching, paying attention and getting more and more pissed with the Borg Collective (including the MSM).  I’m personally waiting for the DNC to trot Hillary and Bill out again to save this waffling fool’s a**. It is not going to work.  WE WILL NOT VOTE FOR BARACK OBAMA.  Get over it.

more from the NY Times story:

Advisers to Mr. Obama predicted that the buzz over Ms. Palin would fade and that the race would quickly turn back into a contest between Senators McCain and Obama, despite the McCain campaign’s efforts to compare Mr. Obama’s experience unfavorably to Ms. Palin’s. At the same time, even as Democratic researchers pore over Ms. Palin’s record in Alaska, a rapid response team is being created in Chicago to dispatch female surrogates around the country.

Excuse me?  How stupid do you think we are?  Sarah Palin, the RNC, and PUMAs have your number Gumby. McCain’s campaign did not start the experience comparison between Gumby and Palin; Gumby did with his initial “shoot first and ask questions later” statement coming out the morning she was announced.  Remember this:

“Today, John McCain put the former mayor of a town of 9,000 with zero foreign policy experience a heartbeat away from the presidency,” spokesman Bill Burton said.

Are You Freaking Kidding Me Again?

We Will Not Vote For Barack Obama!

Democratic Party Leadership: You brought This On Yourselves. Deal!

If hillary clinton keeps being obamas surrogate, it will destroy her credibility and political career. She is making a huge mistake with all the people that suppoted her during the brutal primary. How can she support obama knowing that he is not right for this country, and questioned his “experience” throughout the primary. She needs to disappear from the public now………

  2. Amy P says:

Did anyone notice that McCain wore an orange necktie on Wed and a goldish orange necktie on Thursday? Just sayin’ that it matched HRC’s pants suit from the night of her speech. Subtle messaging?

  3. Inez Watson says:

A lawsuit was filed against Obama in Pa.The FEC was served papers on 8-22-08 and the DNC WAS SERVED PAPERS ON 9-4-08 AND Obama was served paper on 9-4-08 saying that Obama was not a citizen of the USA.Therefore he is not eligible to be president. Who wants this clound to run our country anyway?Sure isn’t me.Can you say President Clinton?

  4. Jane says:

It’s truly stunning, Barky runs to Hillary to fight for him.”Sarah The Impaler” really took him by surprise. I did read however, with mild amusement, Hillary made it clear to Obama campaign, she had prior commitments in Sept and not to reply TOO HEAVILY on her.

  6. Ann & Larry says:

We are Clinton supporters who have already left the Democratic party and are now proud card carrying Republicans who will vote for McCain/Palin.
The Democratic party and their mean mouthed agents are nothing that we want to be identified with. We do not agree with McCain/Palin on all of the issues, but there is NO way that we can vote for a person of Barack Obama’s low character and dismal judgment. We believe that McCain/Palin will bring us change that we can believe in.

This whole site was started to stop the coronation of Gumby by a corrupt DNC leadership that chose him and started grooming him 4 years ago. Senator Clinton fought like a true PUMA during the primaries and yes, she has lost quite a bit of credibility by backing the party line and going along with the Party Before Country theme. Now – her credibility will take a huge hit if she goes out and becomes Gumby’s champion. Everything that is happening right now will affect her chances of running for president in the future.

  8. Hey, DT –

    Good post!

I know people, including myself, hate the thought of Clinton stumping for Obama, but she pretty much has to do it, just like McCain had to do it for Bush after Bush treated HIM like crap. Unfortunately, it is the way it is. And, if she told him to slam off, it would negatively affect the next four years for her in the Senate, and a possible pres. run. (I mean, really – you KNOW that Reid, et. al, would SCREW Clinton in the Senate, not passing any of her legislation, not letting her speak, etc., etc.)

And get this – you may have already seen it, DT. Did you know that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid referred to her as “shrill and sarcastic” after her speech?? Here’s the link: http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2008/09/the-umbrage-war.html

Can you believe that? Just strengthens our point that sexism is very much alive and well in the DNC. Grrrrr.

  9. Lee says:

    FREE HILLARY!!!!!!

    We are a creative bunch….
between us all…can’t we help craft a way to free her from…
    well…you know.

    (It’s sickening to watch!)

(Actually, I’ve never seen the movie FREE WILLY. But maybe some clues there!)

  10. MG says:

imo, Hillary should not associate herself with the BO campaign any longer. Neither should Bill. They do not want to have any correlations drawn to what went down in this campaign in 2012.

Hillary Clinton will be very busy doing the heavy lifting in the Swing States she won. In the mean time, there is nothing much left for Precious to do, may be it is time to take another well deserved vacation? Hillary has to do what she has to do. I will support her in 2012. In 2008, I am supporting the “better” man John McCain and other down ticket Democrats.

  12. Beth C. Taylor says:

You all probably know by now that Heidi Li Feldman is leading an effort to make Senator Clinton Senate Majority leader in ’09. In that capacity she could do much good and control the success of any legislation proposed by whomever is elected president. That maybe the best possible solution for the country given the presidential options with which we are left. While I hate the idea of Senator Clinton stumping for The chosen one, I am sure that if she refused, the party would do everything in its power to prevent her from getting the Majority Leadership, which Reid might lose especially if Obama goes down to defeat.

  13. diamondtiger says:

    Beth,
thanks for the update. I am sure most people don’t know about Will Bower and Heidi Li’s push for this. For those of you interested in the campaign for Senator Majority Leader for Senator Clinton:
    http://tdg.typepad.com/hrcsenatemajorleader09/

Personally though, I think her career is over. The DNC railroaded her and when it comes time for re-election, they will run someone who is more in line with their corrupt politics against her. The current DNC leadership wants to destroy the Clinton legacy. Senator Clinton should have taken a walk and gone independent.

  14. The Clinton’s are far from finished in America’s politics. To remain a power in the Democratic party, either this one, or the reformed after the Obama defeat, she must campaign and it must not appear faked. I first met Bill and Hillary Clinton when Bill was Govenor of Arkansas. I have been an ardent supporter ever since. These are smart and dedicated people. They love this nation and they will have to do what they have to do to serve it! Sometimes when the house is so rotted, it needs to be torn down and rebuilt. That should be our objective!

The Dem party has become nothing but HATE-HATE-HATE and it is so horrible I can not even put it into words!! It diggs deep into my gut and makes me ill, If NObama wins I am afraid OUR COUNTRY will be destroyed.

If only Chelsea or Bill has a severe mysterious illness (NOT)that requires Hillary to show her best maternal side and rush to care for them as so many Obots feel Gov. Palin is such a poor mother. This could be a good reason to suspend her efforts on Obamas behalf.

  19. Candoo says:

We have always had one objective and WE MUST REMAIN
COMMITTED to our main mission, and that mission is
NOBAMA, NO WAY, NO HOW, NEVER!

This is no longer about OUR Hillary. This is about
OUR COUNTRY FIRST! This is about the Health and Safety
of America, as we know it.

I am excited and proud to be voting for “REAL CHANGE”
    on November 4th. I am voting McCain/Palin…..

AND for justice and fairness for ALL women, EVERYWHERE.

  20. Candoo says:

I have to share something that makes me smile.

The obamabots accuse us of being sexist. They
say the only reason we are voting for Sarah Palin
is because she is a woman. (They said that about
our voting for Hillary, too). (I say to my fellow
PUMAS, we know that isn’t the ONLY reason : )

BUT, When accused by the obamabots that we are sexist because the only reason we are voting for Sarah is
because she is a woman…. My reply to them is…

    SO WHAT?

    That reply drives them crazy!

  21. aznana says:

My family and I supported Senator Clinton but are now FORMER Democrats. We will not give away our precious votes for the empty suited crook Obama. I have great admiration for both Bill and Hillary but she will never get my vote again if she “goes after” Sarah Palin. I don’t think she will be but the establishment really has their claws in her so you just don’t know. As far as other female surrogates going after Palin my thoughts are they need to be paying attention to their own jobs and the voters who put them there. I know for a fact that Napolitano needs to pay attention to AZ as she has some major problems here. She is one who will never get my vote again as well as the other Representatives who took money from the Obama campaign for their SD vote.

  22. DemtoRep says:

One more thing I would like to get off my chest—
20 yrs ago when I left my husband from abuse he had
stabbed me twice and stomped on my face (3 yrs of surgerys to assist me to eat and breath) The law would do nothing
to him– I was advised since he wass my husband that I wass his property and he owned me!!!
Now you tell me who were the most recent slaves in our
country??? And obamabots feel sorry for african americans?
WHAT ABOUT ALL WOMEN IN THIS COUNTRY?? DO WE MATTER AT ALL?

  23. Rush Limbaugh created “Operation Chaos” during the Democrat pimary, and listening to him defending Hillary every day for 2-3hrs. was pretty impresive. Then when O”Rielly had that hour interview of Hillary at FOX and it was so graceful and respectful of Hillary that they almost seems like friends, that was the beginning of how the Republican was showing their kindness to Hillary….so, I bet that they were wishing she was a Republican and would have been a great vice-pres. to McCain..then, from there McCain had the BIG AAHHAA moment, so He is the next President of the USA because, He realized the power of a woman!!!

  24. Amy says:

So, start a new party. The single thing that gives democracy its energy and honesty–and has done so for over 200 years–is two vibrant parties. They keep each other honest. They make the opposition hone their arguments. They push us along in their slow, halting, mistake-prone way, but they push us along.

Historically, what PUMA is doing is defending the very essence of the concept of freedom elucidated best by John Stewart Mills. ALL ideas should be part of the marketplace of ideas of governance. Tyrany is the only destination of making man, not law, the destination. We need a serious review of the ideas that founded this country. Those ideas aren’t the esoteric, transient words of a campaign. They are the culmination of thousands of years human experience and thinking. Obama and their crew hasn’t an inkling of those ideas. They are the Madison Avenue of politics.

So you liberals, the Mike Mansfield kind of liberals, need to really start a revolution. And the power of the pen, not the streets, is how you do it. This country needs two viable, thinking, freedom-loving parties. So, start one. Give Hillary Clinton a place to call home.

  25. ms mississippi says:

It makes me absolutely frickin’ sick to see Sen. Clinton campaigning for Obama after the way he and the DNC treated her. And to think that she has had to beg him to help her pay off her campaign debt and he has barely lifted his little pinky to help her. There is no way I would campaign for him if I were her, unless he wrote a big fat check for the entire balance of her campaign debt. I mean, come on, what is Sen. Clinton getting out of the deal, cow-towing to him like this? PUMA’s have gotten out of the abusive relationship with the DNC. I suggest Sen. Clinton do the same.

  26. jim says:

From the Iowa caucus to the timeSenator Clinton stopped her campaign for the Democratic normination(which in reality she earned and the DNC/ Obma campaign stole from her after the mocked her, along with President Clinton)) many other Clinton volunteers and myself almost daily made phone calls on her behalf from her Arlington, VA headquarters. During my phone calls,I always made it a point to ask her supporters if they would vote for Senator Obama in November; and very few said that they would vote in November for Senator Obama. I am a a loss in understanding why President Clinton would campaign for Senator Obama, after Senator Obama belittled him during the primaries. Even more surprising when in conjunction with Senator Obama the DNC initially refused to seat(let alone count) the Florida Clinton delegates, and yet Senator Clinton is planning to campaign on his behalf in Florida. The hypnotic effects must be powerful. Despite the attempts to prop up Senator Obama’s campaign among Clinton dupporters, I think when voting time comes very few Clinton supporters will vote for Obama. Many told me that they will rather vote for McCain than for Obama

  27. debra says:

I totally agree with ms mississippi – Why should Hillary HAVE to help Obama for any damn position? That woman has come so far that she shouldn’t have to settle for anything second best! I would like to see her shock these ignorant BOzombies wih something outrageous, like dump the Dems and join the McCain/Palin organization. I think they would give her and Bill a lot more respect.

  28. diamondtiger says:

    Wow,

Thanks for all the great comments. Americans are really paying attention and thinking about issues and democracy. keep it up!

  29. diamondtiger says:

I cannot believe the liberal men leaving comments on my site that are so negative. They can type their thoughts but can’t read the ban on Obamanation comments at the top of this site. Get with the program boys! Stop wasting your time trying to intimidate and shame ME and my commentors. HAHAHAHAHA. Going to have to do better than that.

  30. Bea Scott says:

Hilary’s only ensuring her future in politics; ugh, I hate how the elections are going to be less on the issues, and more about the personalities. It’s like the new hit soap opera … or reality show.

  31. Scott Ferrarello says:

Hillary refused to trash Sarah. I wonder why ? Oh yeah, she likes her…McCain too. Don’t let these Obamabots rain on our parade. Somehow it will work against them…it always
does. Until they can come up with a new and effective smear campaign…. expect more antagonizing.

  32. debra says:

    diamondtiger
thanks for banning obamanation comments – they get quite tiresome. They must be getting pretty scared. I bet the DNC is even getting more petrified – I’m dying to hear some update on the Philip Berg papers – anybody?

  33. The Democrats are running scared, and for good reason. They deserve everything they get for dissing Hillary. No last-ditch attempt on the part of the Clintons is going to work (at least for this gal). Obama should have thought all of this through before he slighted the Clintons.

  34. Jane says:

HILLARY HAS DONE MUCH TO MUCH FOR OBAMA AS IT IS. THE LAST THING ANY OF US WANT IS HAVING OBAMA WIN.WE WANT AND NEED HILLARY TO BE OUR 1ST WOMEN PRESIDENT AT THAT WILL BE HILLARY RODHAM CLINTON IN 2012. HILLARY SHOULD GIVE THE SAME RESPECT, SUPPORT,ACKNOWLEDEMENT, AND CONTRIBUTION SHE RECEIVED FROM BOTH THE DNC AND OBAMA. I FOR ONE NEVER WANTED HER TO BE PICKED AS HIS VP BECAUSE I DIDN’T WANT HER WAGON TO BE HOOKED TO HIM,BUT SHE AND HER SUPPORTERS DID DESERVE THE RESPECT TO be ASKED. EITHER WAY HILLARY WILL BE THE ONE BLAMED. IF OBAMA BY SOME MIRACLE WINS HE WILL SAY IT WAS HE THE PUBLIC LOVES HIM. WHEN HE LOSES HE WILL BLAME HILLARY FOR NOT DOING ENOUGH. I PERSONALLY WOULD LOSE SOME RESPECT FOR HER IF SHE CONTINUED TO ALLOW BOTH OBAMA AND THE DNC TO USE AND ABUSE HER. I HAVE ONE THING TO SAY TO OBAMA
“YOU CAN FOOL SOME OF THE PEOPLE SOME OF THE TIME, YOU CAN FOOL ALL THE PEOPLE SOME OF THE TIME BUT YOU CAN’T FOOL ALL THE PEOPLE ALL OF THE TIME” OBAMA WAS ASKED ONE THING IN RETURN FOR HILLARY’S ENDORSEMENT AND CAMPIGNING THAT WAS TO HELP HER RETIRE HER DEBT HE DIDN’T DO IT AND NEITHER SHOULD SHE KEEP HER PART OF THE BARGAIN. LET HIM PLAY HIS SEXIST AND RACIST CARDS UNTIL 11/4 AND THEN WE WON’T HAVE TO HEAR FROM HIM FOR A LONG, LONG TIME
