Estimated $600 Billion In New Taxes Being Proposed

NEW TAXES? Tell me it ain’t so!  How’s that for hope and change?

This story could get lost in all the hubbub that is being created by this WH and the rest of the world, (i.e. Iran, Israel, N. Korea, Russia, China. etc.)  It is absolutely frightening to watch the instability that has been created in the world by the placement of a completely unqualified community organizer and supposed Constitutional professor (there’s a laugh) in the most powerful position in the world, our White House.

Hussein is at least being truthful when he said that he was going to spread the wealth; only problem here is that it will end up hitting all of us and completely enslaving the middle class to the government because they will not have the cash to move overseas like Bill Gates and his peers.

The usurper-in-charge should be called the slippery slope-in-charge due to every single issue leading us away from our Constitutional roots.  Can we impeach Obama yet?

House Health-Care Proposal Adds $600 Billion in Taxes (Update2)

June 12 (Bloomberg) — Health-care overhaul legislation being drafted by House Democrats will include $600 billion in tax increases and $400 billion in cuts to Medicare and Medicaid, Ways and Means Committee Chairman Charles Rangel said.

Are You Freakin’ Kidding Me?

Democrats will work on the bill’s details next week as they struggle through “what kind of heartburn” it will cause to agree on how to pay for revamping the health-care system, Rangel, a New York Democrat, said today. The measure’s cost is reaching well beyond the $634 billion President Barack Obama proposed in his budget request to Congress as a 10-year down payment for the policy changes.

Asked whether the cost of a health-care overhaul would be more than $1 trillion over a decade, Rangel said, “the answer is yes.” Some Senate Republicans, including Senator Orrin Hatch of Utah, say the costs will likely exceed $1.5 trillion.

And this is okay with you America? During a depression?

House Democrats plan to release their legislation next week. Obama is working with Congress to get legislation to his desk by October.

Once again, ARE YOU FREAKIN’ KIDDING ME?  Are we going to allow this to happen?  Democrat written and driven universal health care that will not only bankrupt the country after the $12 trillion that The Fed and the Treasury have banged out, but will produce avoidable deaths of Americans; change we can believe in?  Who are the terrorists in the country right now?

I guess turning our health care over the people that cannot read the 1100 page stimulus bill before they voted for it is a stellar idea, instead of turning the decision about our health care over to US; the people who actually do read the bills and are not subject to the pressure from special interest groups and lobbyists.

Obama has pledged that health-care changes won’t add to the deficit. To accomplish that, he’s proposed getting about $600 billion by reducing tax deductions available to the wealthy, and by trimming Medicare payments to insurance companies.

That won’t be enough to cover the overhaul costs. Obama said this week he plans in the coming days to disclose more proposals for raising “additional sources of revenue.” In a letter last week to Senate Democrats drafting legislation he said he will be proposing between $200 billion and $300 billion in further Medicare and Medicaid cuts.

Obama plans to give a speech Monday in Chicago to the American Medical Association as part of his campaign to build up support for what could be the biggest changes to healthcare policy since Medicare was established in 1965.

If it was such a good plan, one would not have to “build up support” because the plan would be common sense, yes?  If we allow this to happen without a fight, then we truly are the idiot children.

Anybody hearing about  Senator Coburn’s Patient’s Choice Act?  Thought not.

  2. Hadn’t heard a peep about this one. Have you read the bill yet Diamond?

  3. no-nonsence-nancy says:

It’s available if you google it. Onlly I don’t use google. I use yahoo.

  4. navyvet48 says:

I read the bill. Coburn’s healthcare plan is consumer dr5iven. That basically ties the insurance hands.

  5. Leaping Spark says:

My contact in DC tells me that Obonzo has threatened any Democrat that even thinks about discussing healthcare with the Republicans, he wants this bill along with his next Stimulus package pushed through unchallenged. Easy DT you are starting to sound like me.

  6. Leaping Spark says:

I talked to the representative who sells our company health insurance about the ever increasing cost of insurance and his off the cuff answer was a simple one. We are raising the prices as high as we can get them so that when the negotiations begin with the government we can get as much money from their socialized programs as possible. So I guess it doesn’t really matter as were getting screwed by the insurance companies now and we will get screwed by the government later. Unfortunately the government and the insurance companies are one step ahead of us and it’s pretty much a done deal already. The debates and posturing in DC are just for our entertainment and to keep us misdirected.

I hate to think of how dismal care will be with more cuts to Medicare. The health care provided to my mother – 84, rapidly deteriorating into stage 3 dementia, with very limited income, entirely dependent upon Medicare for health care – is already sub-par. More cuts to Medicare? Incomprehensible. But then, Congress and The Pretender have great health care, so why should they give a flying f*uck!

  8. lee M. says:

When ordered by the Dr. to get plenty of bed rest, I picked up Ayn Rand’s book “Atlas Shrugged”. It is so near what is happening now, that it is eerie.
To anyone who hasn’t read this book be sure to do so.
Published in 1957, it is so like what is happening today that she must have been using a crystal ball.
It is 1,168 pages of reality. What is happening now, and what to expect if all of Obama’s plans come to fruition.

Diamond, I would be interested to know what your take is on this.

  9. lee- did you know that Ayn Rand was contracted to write that book? She was involved with someone in “the know” of the “work of the ages” (the great plan for “THEM” to own the planet) and she was actually contracted to write that book. That book IS the blueprint for what is happening. It IS the work of the ages in print for all to see! The Illuminati like to “hide things in plain sight”.

As far as BO and the tax thing, he is “spreading the wealth”, he is papering the walls of the Federal Reserve with it. He and the Fed will not be happy till every last dollar is gone from our pockets into theirs. Those with money that know are pretty much already gone. Rush Limbaugh was saying this past week that he knows a lot of billionaires that have already left the country and do not intend on coming back. Bot a few…a lot!

It does not look good for the home team guys. unemployment is at least 10% higher than the numbers that are published. We are in a Level 6 pandemic which means that our “government” is no longer in charge, the WHO is. Mandatory vaccinations, warrant less invasions of your home to accomplish this, forced quarantine if you do not comply, and foreign troops on our soil to enforce it all. Little has been said about the severity of all of this and of the NLE09 “exercises” to commence at the end of July. It is no coincidence that the supply of vaccinations will be ready at this same time. All of this talk of taxes is just a distraction to keep us from realizing the truth. Those that think the gov’t will never do this…did you ever think that the gov’t would do the things that they are doing now? Did you ever think that Pravda would write an article about “the late great America” and that Americans are welcoming communism with a whimper while declaring “we are free”?

  10. NormaJean says:

Incomprehensible…in a word. I can’t even imagine the healthcare in this country becoming any more laxxxxxxxxx!!!! For many years we’ve had to be our own advocates. My father became ill and for five years, 98 doctors later, I watched him suffer and then die.(and, without a diagnosis…..they never did figure it out. It was just treat the symptoms, patch and go until the next crash…I had a real bird’s eye view of how it works) Did the Drs. really have the patient’s interest…sure, when it was about billable procedures. Who would consider surgery for a cancerous skin leasion when the patient is on daily blood transfusions, no platlets, compromised immune system, etc? A system that bleeds what it can get. This was NINE years ago….and by the way, he died a month later, like they didn’t know this was unnessary, cut him open only to watch him suffer more…. You think that this is going to get any better under the usurper’s socialized programs? Get real……. We have some wonderful Doctors and nurses in this country that are already squeezed by insurance payments and limitations. This healthcare proposal will diminish whatever personalized, human elements that are left. My only confort is to know that he is with our Christian GOD, the one that most AMERICAN’s worship!

  11. NormaJean,

You have my heartfelt condolences as someone who has watched the medical industry (I refuse to call them health care or professionals) not only let my mother die, but helped the process along considerably. First they poisoned her with chemo therapy (which did her in before they could even get to the radiation torture), then when we sought an inexpensive alternative cure we discovered that the FDA has banned it’s sale in the US. We were jerked around just long enough to let her die within days of finally obtaining the potential life saving substance because her liver had failed by that time.

My solace lies in the fact that she herself said she knew that she would be doomed under Obama anyway as she could see he has no tolerance for the elderly or the infirmed (nonetheless both). When I related stories I read on the web about possible FEMA concentration camps, she told me she knew she would probably never even make it to one of those. I know she is in a better place than we will be soon. My best advice is to stay as healthy as you can – we’re in for a long haul!

Dave my friend from England is in town again. Being curious about socialized medicine I finally pinned him down and ask him what it was like. In a nut shell he said it sucks, he pays 65% of his income in taxes, and still has to go outside of the governments healthcare plan to buy private healthcare insurance to protect his family. He said that most good doctors want nothing to do with the governments socialized crap. He said heart patients sometimes have to wait months to have any kind of procedure performed and that a lot of them die on the waiting list. Csrtain kinds of procedures and medicines are rationed because of the cost and the government decides who is going to get them, the others get to die. Right now people from England and Europe are coming to America for treatments they can’t get at home. Also it is not uncommon for people from England to go to Hungary to see a Dentist as they have to wait for months in England. One word of advice he had for America was, what ever you have to do, stop socialized medicine and redistribution of the wealth because it doesn’t work. The government gets rich, the poor get poorer, and the middle class gets screwed by all!

  13. Kathy says:

What year did 9/11 take place?

There are other videos asking this same question, this is just the newest.

  14. NormaJean says:

Thank you Gardian Grail and to you my deepest sympathies. Having lived this experience….you understand. What they both had under our current system is…….the FREEDOM of choice. May God help all of us baby boomers with this proposed plan. In the end, the NWO most probably wants us to die off, steal our wealth and eliminate the middleclass. For those who are unfortunatly left…… total reliance on government. As you say, our parents may have been the ones who were blessed.

Oh, and did I mention that the beginning of this horrific experience for my Father may have began from vaccines he needed to travel to the Far East? Funny, in the beginning the Dr’s said….he’s developed an autoimmune disease…his body is attacking itself. Isn’t that what WHO and our government wants to inject all of us with for this next round of “swine flu” loaded with squalene that has the same effect? I say, find yourself a friendly Dr. if it becomes mandatory. Pay for it and throw it in the trash.

  15. NormaJean,

Thank you. I would not be at all surprised if the “vaccine” you Dad received was the beginning of his demise. I do pity all of us that are left – what they have in store for us will not be pretty if they are allowed to get their way.

  16. lee M. says:

    To Practical Madman,

No, I did not know that Ayn Rand contracted to do the book “Atlas Shrugged”. Thank you for the tip. I will go down one of Diamond’s rabbit holes and research this. Like a dog with a bone, I get the scent and I can’t resist following it up.

I’ve already been doing a lot of research on the Illuminati but due to a back injury I can’t spend as much time at the computer right now as I’d like to.

To Grail Guardian – you are so right in all your advice.
The medical establishment is out to do us in. The chemo and radiation just about finished me off. I’m convinced that if I had taken the other six radiation treatments ( I took 8) that my oncologist ordered I wouldn’t be here now. I just refused to let my primary care physician give me steroid shots after I strained my back while moving, and he informed me that he was the Dr., not I. Tough toenail, it’s my body not his.

Diamond, I meant have you read the book and do you agree that it is exactly what is happening now? If what “practical madman” says about this book being contracted way back when is true I’d like to know who her contacts were. I understand the book was undertaken in 1945 and published in 1957. You’re right, Diamond, these people have been at this for a long, long time.

  17. lee M. says:

Grail, I hit the wrong key and my message about the radiation treatments looks dumb. I was ordered to take 14 treatments but after 8 I couldn’t take it anymore. That with the 22 chemo infusions and four years of oral chemo, my bones gave out on me. I’ve worked harde to get back to where I am now, and if anyone comes near me with a needle I’ll shove it in their face.

  18. Republicans have no crediblity with me at all. Where were they when Clinton suggested enrolling those over 50 and without jobs into Medicare, which works just fine when it is funded?? And the private sector has plenty of action, with all the processing of claims.

Oh, the Dole Medical Savings Plan pilot program, which the wealthy could used as another tax-deferred savings vehicle, while most people couldn’t scrape together any $$ to put into it?

Then we have Bush banning the import of ALA from Germany, where it is a pharmaceutical…so that Dr. B has to get it from Italy and a lab here in CA prepares it, thus adding to the cost…Oh, yeah, Mr. “LIFE” really gave a shit, so he blocked the import to spare his big pharma buddies. And that reminds me, Medicare Part D was a Republican ripoff…and I see Teddy K. and crowd have decided they can’t
“fight” to change it after all. Yup, no discount for volume buying, what a great plan it is…for Big Pharma.

Frankly, I expect this crap from Republicans, but Democrats? Well, yes. This curent “reform” is for the industry, not people. It sounds a lot like Romney’s Massachussetts plan which is no winner.

Why the people of this country don’t start marching is beyond me. I don’t know what disgusts me more….the politics, the media…the people…

  19. PS–Lee, you should come to NM and get the ALA-LDN regimen for cancer/prevention.

  20. PS…High deductible policy? Been there, done that…my premiums (in NJ) were still ridiculously high (10 years ago, already up to over $5000 a year), with a $2000 deductible…and I wound up $10,000 in the hole after back surgery.

Perfect! And a tax credit will do SQUAT for helping buy an individual policy…the prices will still be out of reach for many…

    Houston 6/12 Pelosi protest.

  22. Kathy says:

About a thousand people marched in an organized event in Seattle on May 30th to promote socialized health care.

Nearly 400 regular citizens showed up many with homemade signs to protest socialized health care.

I know we do not see these things much in the msm but it is happening and should be seen as encouraging.

“It does not require a majority to prevail but rather an irate, tireless minority keen to set brush fires in the peoples minds.”

  23. Leaping Spark says:

Dr Kate of Constitutional radio said it’s time to act and, to Quote Morgan Freeman “It’s time to get busy living, or it’s time to get busy dying. Anyway you want to look at it, we have to get busy to save America. Obonzo is going to stage some propaganda sessions (phony town hall meetings) at da peoples crib (Whitehouse) with select audiences chosen by his sycophants to sell his tax hikes and socialized medicine. Obviously the MSM will be all over it trumpeting his communist agenda to the illiterate masses of America who will literally eat it up believing that this bulls#$t is the truth and what America really wants. We are so screwed!
