The Point Of The 6K Purse Story

Michelle_Obama__Alligator_ClutchI have seen talking heads, and read bloggers covering the fact that Michelle Obama is carrying a $6k purse during a depression.  These talking heads and bloggers have missed the true point of this story; more Chicago arm-twisting thuggery, and now, backpedaling.

From NY Daily News

Bag manufacturer: Mistaken identity on First Lady’s clutch

Call it a case of mistaken identity.

Italian luxury goods manufacturer VBH boasted yesterday that First Lady Michelle Obama had toted their $5,950 alligator manila clutch earlier this week while on a trip to Russia.

No way, said the White House, which countered that the First Lady was carrying an $875 VBH patent leather clutch.

After sticking to their initial claim, the high-end leather manufacturer is now backing off. “If that’s what the White House is saying, then it’s a patent bag,” admitted VBH rep Kelly Vitko.

Despite being certain about the bag being the nearly $6,000 version – “it’s definitely ours [manila bag],” she said earlier this morning — the rep now says that she made an assumption and misidentified the bag.

  1. The bag  is more than likely the $6k version
  2. The rep was certain and stuck to her story and then “misidentified” a product she represents?
  3. How does one misidentify a $6k bag?
  4. Are you believing this line of crap?
  5. Still think the Obamas are not elitists?

It appears that calls were made VBH, and now Michelle Obama gets to have her cake and eat it too.

Have the Emperor and Empress added any new czars today?

Can We Impeach/Arrest Obama yet?

(Now excuse me while I go cross-eyed figuring out the State Dept. appropriations bill.)

I think on Sept 12 we should set up a cardboard guillotine on the White House lawn. Maybe they’ll get the picture. Then we need to send in the military with handcuffs.

    I agree totally.

OT: I rode in a parade yesterday in Cheney, KS with the American Legion Riders for the opening of the county fair and saw a Tea Party t-shirt. I decided to do go over and talk to the folks. It turns out their whole church, Harvest Community supports the tea parties and many of them were at the second tea party and some were at the third tea party. I sent my name, phone number and web site along to the organizer at the church and let her know I wanted to put together a group of folks to go to DC. I hope they contact me. The people said they were glad to meet…pretty cool

If not I will contact the pastor at the church and see what happens from there. I am definitely not a quitter.

Navyvet48–if you refer them to this audio and they listen to it I guarantee they won’t want to miss the DC event.

It happens. I knew someone who thought they were breathing $6000 air. Turned out that it was just my farts.

Back in the 70’s there was a lot of talk about the Bermuda Triangle. What ever happened with that?

This Whitehouse Family have absolutley no international social skills or sensitivity to the citizens of the country. Their need to get help with their NPD.

They should read about the starvation of 7-11 million Russians in Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn’s “The Gulag Archipelago” and presented Putin and Medevev with a copy.

And the humilation of giving a mere 50,000 to Italy during their earthquake disaster. Yep; but 600 mill to the hamas terrorists to buy more guns to kill Israelis.

Well, anyway back to alligator purse M.Obama swamp: “you can put lipstick on a pig, but it’s still a pig”.

Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn has called “The Gulag Archipelago

Recived this in an email and wanted to pass it on

This must be passed onto everyone you know…

Killed in action the week before, the body of Staff Sergeant First Class John C. Beale was returned to Falcon Field in Peachtree City Georgia, just south of Atlanta, on June 11, 2009. The Henry County Police Department escorted the procession to the funeral home in McDonough Georgia . A simple notice in local papers indicated the road route to be taken and the approximate time.

In these days of the ultra-liberal socialism that is being forced upon us, one can be led to believe that America no longer respects Honor and no longer honors the sacrifices of the men and women that make up our military. Be it known that there are many places in this land where people still recognize the courage and impact of total sacrifice. The liberal politicians, journalists, and Hollywood personalities that despise the military may have the loudest voices but they are not the majority, no matter what they would have you believe. The Nancy Pelosi’s, Barney Frank’s, Ted Kennedy’s, Harry Reid’s, and Barack Obama’s may have the platform now, but they cannot extinguish the patriotism that is the backbone of this country. Our President may want to apologize for America, but it just shows that he has never truly understood America.

Only watch this if you wish to have some of your faith in people and hope for our nation restored. The link below is a short travelogue of a remarkable and painful journey. Watch with pride and pray for God to send us a President like Ronald Reagan that understands what and Who made America a great Nation.

This must be passed onto everyone you know…
