The Playboy Arrives and Receives……Crickets….

Obama decides to visit some Marines on Christmas Day and I am thinking that our military ain’t liking the outcome of the election very much; h/t to Gateway Pundit:

Obama Visits Marine Corps Base for Christmas

December 26, 2008 8:34 AM

FROM ABC NEWS’ SUNLEN MILLER IN HAWAII:

President-elect Obama stopped by the Marine Corps base in Hawaii Kaneche Bay where servicemen and -women were eating Christmas dinner in Kailua Thursday evening.

….

As Obama entered the room, it was absent of the regular fanfare of cheering and clapping. The diners were polite, staying seated at their respective tables and waited for the president-elect to come to them to stand up.

….

The president-elect spent about an hour with the troops. Obama transition aides say that Obama did not eat with the uniformed men and women — he ate at his beach home with his family and friends Christmas night.

These military folks are not required to do anything yet because Bambi ain’t the CIC, but according to the military men in my family – the lack of any kind of respectful response is a big fat F*** You from the military to The One.  Maybe that is why Bambi decided not to break bread with Americans on Christmas Day ………………………………………or not….maybe it has something to do with the Obamas as Christians not celebrating Christmas in their household.  (That is the strangest thing I have ever heard….)

Either way – I agree with the Marines, only I think I may be just a bit more vocal…

The Marines know quality when they see it..and apparently they were not seeing it. Good for them!!

The vast majority of Marines I know absolutely despise and distrust the Obitler. I can’t tell you the number that have told me they have sworn an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution, not any person. Obitler has made his contempt for the military known, why is the press surprised that the feelings are mutual?

I am disgusted with the cynicism and The One’s decision to try and use the Marines for yet another “photo op”. He could have easily gone to the Army barracks at Schofield, or a homeless shelter at the Salvation Army, but chose to harass the Marines instead. It seems to me that The One and his harridan wife are more concerned with being “celebrities” than leaders. Absolutely sickening.

So true MarineWyf. These two are not leaders and never have been. Bambi runs from opportunity to opportunity and Mishy just rides his coattails. Look in the sidebar for the Atlas Shrugs article about Mishy’s law license being “court ordered inactive” since 1993. So she isn’t a practicing lawyer and has not been one since 4 years into her career? I am looking past these two to the fallout from the economy and trying to protect my friends and family first.

I have never heard of such a reaction to a President-elect before. Maybe this means that if Pampers orders them to turn the guns on us they will refuse to do his bidding. That might put a crimp in his Peronesque plans.

  5. Diamond Tiger says:

We can hope and pray that the military will back the Average American Citizen and not The One who only has himself and Mishy’s interests at heart.
