I ran across this tidbit from Newsbusters about Sandra Bernhardt: Sandra Bernhard: Palin Would Be Gang Raped By Blacks In Manhattan. I personally am wondering when good manners are going to be in vogue in this country again. After reading this article, and watching the following video, I am wondering when women are going to wake up and stop bashing EACH OTHER. All things not being equal, it is damn well time for women to start circling the wagons for the first time in their lives and show a united front. When I hear about NOW and NARAL bashing on Palin, I have to wonder what about Sarah does not make her good enough to be included in the estrogen club? Her political views disqualify her? The fact that she is not a liberal left, latte drinking, argula eating clone of Obama’s female sycophants? Since when is it acceptable for feminists to bash another woman just because they do not agree with her personal belief systems?

Sandra Bernhard needs some attending to by the Sisters of Perpetual Misery and Lead Filled Canes.

I saw that video yesterday and turned it off after just a minute. So, this woman who claims to be of sound mind and accused Sarah Palin of being a racist, reduces black men to a bunch of thugs who roam around Manhattan raping women? I knew Bernhard was an ugly woman, inside and out, but I didn’t realize that black souls were in vogue this year. It seems that it is, because I’m seeing an awful lot of this type of hate withing the Obama supporting crowds. Well…hate and a generous dose of stupidity.
I’m so confused…when did rape become humorous?
Please explain to me when racism and sexism became humorous. The fact that the Washington Post defends this sort of tripe by accusing anyone who doesn’t find the humor to be defenders of racist white men is more disturbing than Bernhard. I always knew she was a kook and didn’t expect anything less from that washed-up B-Lister. If this type of tripe is acceptable then Don Imus should receive a formal apology for losing his job over the “nappy-headed ho” comment. He was only being “provocative, combative, humorous, and yes, let’s allow, disgusting.” . People wonder why a black woman like me would support McCain (as if I’m turning my back on my race.) Well, look at the people who are rooting for Obama. A bunch of sick and twisted people. Anyone who attracts this sort of vermin is not the person I want running this country.
I am an Irish woman who is left speechless! Is this REALLY a woman? Unfortunately this nasty PERSON and all the rest of the hollywood liberal nasty women hate women who do not believe the same as others. The American people are the ones that make sure these hollywood bimbos have the voice and exposure they have by giving hard earn money at the movies,shows,TV. And for the most part we have NOTHING in common with them. They spend more money on shoes and clothes than the average American family spend on food for a year. And this is NOT the first time these people have used rape and racist remarks as comedy,pay attention to the movies and television shows today. It takes a lot of ignorance for a woman that ugly to make fun of Sarah Palin. Maybe that is the reason behind this ugly rant,jealousy. I can see the Rabbi’s now shaking their heads with their hands covering their faces. Yea I bet she really reads the Old Testament!
Of the lengthy list of things that are hard to digest in this campaign, the reaction to Palin by a certain group of women, including famous feminists and comedians such as Bernhard and Margaret Cho, is the hardest one to experience.
It’s possible to disagree without being sexist or racist. I understand that it takes a little extra effort for some.
Oh, and by the way, Maher, Steward, Cho, Bernhard, the shit just ain’t funny when you’re clearly that mad … sorry…

You are exactly right; we are THAT MAD. They just haven’t figured it out yet. I am thinking it is going to take a landslide FOR McCain/Palin in November for some of these twits to pull their heads out of the sand.
Diamond Tiger, if it’s any consolation to you, my gut is telling me it will be a McCain (electoral) landslide…I live in Washington State and McCain down by less than 3. If he is that close here, I think he has a better than even chance of winning and winning bit.
If Obama wins, it will be a squeaker (‘cuz, you know, they’ll just have to keep filling out ballots until they have just enough).
This is one of the reasons why women are so far behind in their leadership ability because they tend to have the crab mentality. If you watched how Curic intervied Sarah, she almost look like she was ready to scratch Sarah’s face and put her claws in her eyes. Just think if you were to apply for a job and your interviewer was that rude like Curic, that would be so devastating. Has women (feminist especially} gotten that mean and ugly inside? Sarah is all CLASS for remaining a LADY inspite of being attact by women who you cannot even recognize due to all the plastic surgeries, injections and heavy make up.
My mom and I were talking about the “hate” that women are having for Palin and I mean hate, my sister is one of them and it’s not even a rational hate. I’m seeing lots of women needing some therapy. It’s sad too, I don’t expect people who don’t share he views to vote for her, but omg I think some women have forgotten what it is to be a lady.
