PUMA Politics: Michelle and Barack MAY Win The Battle and Then Lose The War

Michelle Obama came out this evening at the Democratic Convention and gave, what has been quoted as, a beautiful but flat speech with “forced earnestness” when talking about her family and her values.   The pundits are saying that this isn’t the Michelle they used to know.

According to Gallup, Michelle Obama’s speech could make a difference in her husband’s polling numbers:

PRINCETON, NJ — Michelle Obama’s prime-time speech Monday night at the Democratic Convention in Denver could in theory have an effect on the election; over half of Americans say a presidential candidate’s spouse is an important factor in their vote.

Michelle Obama’s speech was about middle class values and being patriotic.  Okay.  I am still trying to figure out the hidden agenda with the DNC putting forth a candidate and his spouse that need to keep explaining to the American Public how middle class they really are and exactly how much they love this country.  Would you not think that if America still feels that the Obamas are elitists and unpatriotic after a 18 month campaign, this is more than just a disconnect; it is a massive problem?

PUMAs and many others do not believe a single thing that Barack or Michelle say, and will continue to say NO DEAL!  When the Obamanation bashes us and states there is no difference between Hillary and Barack’s policies; our reply is that we believe that he will continue to break his campaign promises just like when he voted to allow the telecommunication companies to continue spying on Americans with the FISA Bill.  As far as we are concerned, Barack and Michelle DO NOT share our values.

It’s looking like the corrupt DNC leadership will try to push through Bambi Obama as the Democratic Presidential nominee; win the battle and come November, lose the war (AGAIN) due to those ever increasing Clinton supporters (now 30% voting for McCain) who are not buying the message we are being bludgeoned with, and who will not vote for the party that has told them to stay home and continues to insult our intelligence with this presumptive nominee who is not and will not ever be ready to be Leader of The Free World.  Also, do not forget about all those independent female voters watching the DNC right now.

The pundits keep asking what Hillary Clinton (and not Barack) has to do or say to get her followers on board the Obama bandwagon.  Our Answer?  NOTHING!!!  The sham of the primaries and now the convention has gone way beyond uniting this party.  She has her vote, we have ours and it will not be used to reward the gamed primaries and continued rigging of the DNC’s convention in regards to the “free, open, full roll call”.

Please remember that the above article is from the Associated Press, who is well known to be in the tank for the Obama Camp.

It is still unknown whether or not the corrupt DNC is going to allow a REAL and full roll call vote for all of the delegates.

Time will tell.  I’m still waiting for my Unity Pony and to see what the DNC tries next…..

Here is a taste of what PUMAs mean by disrespect:

Whoever those “pundits” are that you cited at the top, they are idiots. It’s like they were watching another speech.

Michelle Obama hit one out of the park. She was absolutely everything anyone could ask for in a spouse and supporter.

    “Flat?” “Forced?”

Whatever it takes to hit one into the cheap seats, she did it.

Have really been enjoying your posts and am adding you to my blogroll.

Hit it out of the park??? Did you even listen to her speech? Did you not almost blow diet coke out of your nose when she said that she and BO were raised to believe that your word is your bond? Because I did. Correct me if I am wrong, didn’t the junior senator from IL say he was going to take the public campaign funds and then turn around and NOT take the funds? Didn’t he say he would filibuster FISA and then he not only didn’t filibuster it, he voted FOR it!! Is that what she meant by their word being their bond?

    Many Mahalos WhatSuddenly,

I read your blog often and thank you for the kudos….stay tuned.

    Hey Sherrip!

Not to worry though, the obamanation has stocked up on extra koolaid and I have no idea what Pelosi is drinking when she is saying that we need to have a full open roll call when she originally said she would put a stop to the primaries and then paid the Supers to endorse Obama. I am sure we will have many months of stupid comments to blog about.

    Have A Nice PUMA Day!

  7. CKA in Red State USA says:

If Americans are stupid enough to buy the bilge from either Obama that they are middle class, that they are patriotic, that they are honest–well, they deserve both of them.

Meanwhile, the rest of us don’t deserve them.

That’s why the O-B ticket will be defeated in November.

And then we will find out how honest, patriotic and middle class the Obama’s really are.

And how much damage truly comes due to racial arsonist Obama’s continuous playing of the race card.

  8. Lunatic Pandora says:

Michelle Obama’s speech was nothing but an attempt to erase the “unpatriotic, militant, angry black woman” image that so many people have of her…thanks to her own past comments and words. I’m not the least bit impressed by her or her husband. “Snake oil salesmen” comes to mind, all pretty packaging with no real product.

But I did receive a chuckle when she made this remark during her speech:

“that your word is your bond and you do what you say you’re going to do”

…if his word is his bond, why is Republican Juliette Ochieng (a.k.a Baldilocks) the one who is now attempting to help the ‘Senator Obama Kogelo Secondary School’ in Nyang’oma-Kogelo, a village in Kenya, when it was Obama himself who said two years ago:

“Hopefully, I can provide some assistance in the future to this school and all that it can be,” Obama said. Looking directly at the school’s principal, Yuanita Obiero, and her teachers, he added, “I know you are working very hard and struggling to bring up this school, but I have said I will assist the school, and I will do so.”

He never kept his word. This is only one small reason why I will not vote for Obama…if he couldn’t keep his word two years ago, why would I expect him to do so now with all of his pretty campaign promises? Just a school in a poor, remote village, no big deal? No…yet another reflection of his character. Or, a lack thereof.
