This Would Be The 1st "Hele On" Award.

In keeping with the attitude that if you aren’t laughing, then you are probably gonna be crying; I am starting the “Hele On” Award. This award goes to those people out there that are going to be doing things the stupid way in spite of warnings and advice. Hele On is a hawaiian slang term for “get on with your bad self”. So….here is today’s Hele On Award!!! To The Borg Consortium and The Unity Pony!!!

“Two Muslim women at Barack Obama’s rally in Detroit Monday were barred from sitting behind the podium by campaign volunteers seeking to prevent the women’s headscarves from appearing in photographs or on television with the candidate,” The Politico’s Ben Smith reports.


According to Ben:
The campaign has apologized to the women, all Obama supporters who said they felt betrayed by their treatment at the rally. “This is of course not the policy of the campaign. It is offensive and counter to Obama’s commitment to bring Americans together and simply not the kind of campaign we run,” said Obama spokesman Bill Burton. “We sincerely apologize for the behavior of these volunteers.”

Former vice president Al Gore formally endorsed Obama at that Monday rally.


Just Remember folks: JUST SAY NO DEAL to how it looks and not how it is!!!!
