I’ve been thinking about this point of view since Governor Palin was announced.
Here’s some brain candy for ya…..
I have been hearing the whole shebang about how Governor Sarah Palin is not experienced enough to step into John McCain’s shoes if, God forbid, something were to happen to him.
Has anybody realized that there is technically 3 miles between Russia and Alaska? If you really want to push the point, there is 55 miles between Russia and Alaska. My spousal unit has told me that when he was a fisherman there, you could look across the strait and see the trucks with the large red star behind the barbed wire; and military men and equipment all the time.
How wide is Bering Strait? What is the shortest distance from the USA and Siberia?
The shortest distance from the USA and Siberia is 55 miles across Bering Strait from Cape Prince of Wales in Alaska to Cape Dezhnev in Russia. The Diomede Islands lie en route, the larger island owned by Russia.
Has it occurred to anyone that Governor Sarah Palin is Commander-In-Chief of the Alaskan National Guard in the only state that borders one of our “former enemies”. Obviously, something must be wrong with the 
people of Alaska if they entrusted this massive state bordering Russia to a woman; (snark), or maybe Alaskans are a bit hardier people and they know what the heck they are doing by electing THIS person and continuing to support her so greatly. Can any one of us imagine what it was like to grow up in the Alaskan wilderness FORTY ONE years ago? I think everybody needs to STOP judging this woman by their own standards and experiences.
On the flipside; what has Bambi been in charge of for the last 20 months? His Plane, His Bus, His Adoring Throng? Think back….he could not even hit the right button when voting and had to change his vote numerous times. (Oh, lest we forgot, the DNC rigging the primaries and the roll call vote too….needed a tad bit of help on that.)

As a former Senator Clinton Supporter, I must make a decision about who I will vote for now. I have been an Independent Voter for 24 years and vote for CHARACTER, INTEGRITY AND EXPERIENCE.
Bambi Obama has nothing to offer me in any of these categories.
I am endorsing Senator John McCain and Governor Sarah Palin as the reformers that they are.
I guess the Obama haters prefer the Hype/Hack 08 ticket! They put a completely empty suit at the TOP of their ticket and a Washington insider who is mediocre at best on the bottom! Obama always trashes McCain about being in Washington 26 yrs during the 30 yrs of the energy crisis, but he overlooks his #2 has been there 36! McCain picked someone outside of Washington! Obama complains about lobbyists but his #2’s own son lobbies for two drug companies, conflict of interest? McCain picked someone who has a proven record of fighting corruption! As for her experience, she’s the only one on both tickets with ANY executive experience! She has run a SMALL state, has Obama ever run anything but his mouth? You can get more experience to be President being the Governor of ANY state for a month than you can being a SENATOR for years! Of our 43 Presidents only TWO have ever come straight from the Senate! Other Senators have run and lost by embarrassing margins! Mostly all Presidents were Governors first and some for not very long! So, what makes a half term Senator more qualified than a Governor? Please don’t say he’s a community organizer, I can assure you 0 have been community organizers! McCain is the only one with a Governor on his ticket! Obama supporters are making Obama look so bad by reminding people how unqualified he is after he just got most Americans comfortable with the idea you don’t need experience. I thought it’s about judgment,character,and being outside of Washington according to the great one! What happened to all the references of the other great President’s who didn’t have much experience? That’s all I heard during the primaries like a broken record! This is also exposing the Democrats own hypocrisy of equality! Can you say sexist? I will say this one more time, Sarah Palin is more qualified than Barack Obama and she’s running for the #2 spot where he is at the top of the ticket! I wish they would admit what this is really about!

I first read this as “thong” and lost my lunch.
Sarah Palin is smart, a fast learner, and not lazy like Obama. She won’t take two vacations in less than two years. I know she will use the 143 days that Obama has spent in the Senate and learn 4 times more than Obama did in that time.
I don’t know of anything outstanding Obama has done in his whole career let alone as a community organizer. I do know as a State Senator he recommended that Tony Rezko receive $14 million dollars to fix 15 rehabs in Chicago. 11 of those rehabs were in Obama’s district. What happened was the rehabs didn’t have heat or electricity and were foreclosed upon because of no work being done. Most community organizers accomplish the opposite. That did not happen in this case. Why wasn’t Obama aware of what was happening in his district? He was still taking contributions at the time from Rezko and he continued to take them throughout, even up to the time Rezko helped him to secure a home for $300,000 less the asking price. Rezko was ready to be indicted at the time and the previous home owner of Obama’s house, Mr. Ahi, is a convicted felon from Iraq now living in London. Ahi also leant Rezko $3.5 million a few months before the house sale. With all this happening any honest broker would have at least questioned what is behind the $300,000 discount. This is not a “Bonehead mistake” as Obama stated; it is either a very grave lapse in judgment or suspected lack of ethics. That and other similar things I found out about Obama and the DNC are truly scary.
Ever since I started studying Obama over a year ago I have seen how he is hypocritical, lies, disenfranchising, elitist, arrogant, and sexist. Since I did so much studying of his pass I have seen how much the press has let him slide and how much they have reported biasly. It’s a sad statement for my party and the press.
